Bead «Hope».

The triad «cross – anchor – heart» has served for more than two thousand years as an allegorical designation of the three main Christian virtues: faith, hope and love. Together these symbols are also an allegory of the Holy Trinity. The cross, anchor and heart, joined together, are still one of the most popular Christian symbols throughout the world. An anchor is depicted on the round laconic bead – a symbol of hope. The symbol of the anchor has been widespread in Christian culture since ancient times: Scripture says that hope is «an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast» (Heb. 6:19).
