The elegant bead is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, Consubstantial and Indivisible: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Naming the Persons of the Holy Trinity, we make the sign of the cross. A prayer is written on the bead: «Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us». The prayer is surrounded by a plant ornament containing the image of a trefoil – a plant symbolizing the Holy Trinity. It was with the example of the trefoil that St. Patrick (in the Orthodox tradition – Patricius) explained to the ancient pagan Irish the teaching about the Trinity and was able to bring the country to Christianity.
