Bead. Daisy.

The sides of the bead are decorated with a daisy flower – a symbol of family, love and fidelity. In the center of the bead are written words from the Gospel of Matthew: Mt. 19:5. And said: «For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh», Mt. 19:6. So they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. It can also be understood thus: «He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit» (1 Cor. 6:17). In this respect a certain union of the believer with Christ takes place, since we have all become one body with Him and are members of Christ. Indeed, no one can dissolve this union, as Paul also says: «Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?» (Rom. 8:35). For what God has joined together cannot be separated by «neither man, nor any other creature, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers», as Paul says (Rom. 8:38–39).
