This small silver heart looks like a stylish piece of jewelry. Only its owner knows that inside, on its two halves, are placed an image of the Mother of God and a prayer to Her. On one of the leaves is depicted the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. It is venerated as a shield for the whole family and a protector of everyone who prays to it. The Mother of God grants especially much help through this icon in family matters and in various illnesses. On the second leaf are written the opening lines of the prayer to the Mother of God: "Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast borne the Savior of our souls."
