The image of the Lord Jesus Christ not made by hands is depicted on the ear, revered as one of the most powerful protective symbols of Orthodoxy. The opening verse of the protective prayer to the Honorable Cross of the Lord is written around. This prayer is read in danger, and is also worn to protect against evil forces.</span>
